​​On November 14th 1940 the German Luftwaffe unleashed a living hell from the skies over Coventry during eleven consecutive hours of continuous bombing.  This catastrophic raid is one of the defining events of World War two on the home front.  It stands as the most concentrated single air attack on a British city, with deadly results.
